I would like to seek your advice. I was borned in Aug 1966 and my spouse borned in May 1967. I had moved to this house since year 28th Nov 2001 and seems never bring me a good luck, wealth and health too. My house is a double story terrace. The main door is facing NW. My master bedroom also located at NW. To improve the situation, I have been advised that to change to period 8 but in order to do that I must to open the roof. I plan to do a renovation next year 2006 (after CNY) Question: 1) Does this recommended in Fengshui practice to open the roof? 2) If I wanted to open the roof, does this mean that I need to open the roof in the hall at the staircase? Dear Joey & Team, Great work on your tv program which helped to dispel all the myths brought on by other practitioners. Looking forward to Session 2 when it comes around! My question: After learning more about 8 Mansions and House Gua from your tv episodes I realized that my apartment unit which is facing South (Kan House - following the block facing) has the most commonly used areas located in bad sectors ie the main door is located in the Jue Ming sector (and facing North which isn't exactly a good direction for me too), the entire living room area covers the Huo Hai and Liu Sha sectors and the master bedroom is in the Wu Gui sector! To compound matters the kitchen is in a good sector (Yan Nian)! Wow! Talk about a tough situation! It doesnt help to know that all the other units on the 22 floors above and below me are in the same predicament, right? What can I do to negate the effects of the House Gua? Should I concentrate on the Flying Stars instead? Your advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
