Tks for the wonderful programme on TV. I will appreciate your advice on whether we should use a room with good flying stars but located in a bad sector according to the Ba Zhai formula. Thank you.

Dear Joey, my house is P7, facing N3 where are the good location (internal) to place a water feature such as mini fountain and aquarium. At present I place the aquarium at the North and the mini fountain at NE just next to my main door. Is this OK? Regards KC

Dear Joey Thank you for replying to my earlier query on location of houses. Just to recap, I am born in 1958 and my qua number is 9. You have advised me to get a sitting house which is part of the East group of houses. I am kind of confused here. Do I get a house with the front facing east or west? If I read your reply correctly, it would mean that I shd get a house with the front facing west so that the sitting is east. Is that correct? Also, to see if my house is facing east or west, do I use the position where the front part of the house (which is actually the sliding door) or the front door which is always placed perpendicular to the sliding door? Hope to get your reply soon as I intend to buy a house very soon and I want to get it right. Thank you. Cynthia Z

Dear Joey, I have a very important question for you. I recently bought a period 8 house facing N1. I have a choice to put my bedroom in the NE or the SE sector. According to the house gua, the SE sector is good, but according to the flying stars, it is a very bad area. I am an 8 gua and my husband is a 1. He is the major money earner in the family. Which bedroom is best for us and what cure should I put in the other bedroom so it will be useable for my mother? Please answer my question as it is very important to me and we are moving in this week! Thanks so much for your help. Lori

How do you determine the period of a house? My new house faces N1 and was built in 1962. It had a new roof, front door and new floors installed in 2001 (after a fire), sat vacant for 1.5 years (except for people coming through with their realtors to look at it) and now I am moving into it in 2005. Is it a period 6, 7 or 8 house? I am urgently requesting your reply as my husband and I have had tremendous bad luck over the past 6 years and I want to put my water feature, etc. in just the right spot. My husband is a 1 and I am an 8 gua. Thank you for your help.

Dear Joey, My house is a gua 4 East group house. My husband and I are West group, kua 2 and 8. There are 2 bedrooms in N (2M, 4W) and S (3M, 5W) which also happen to be good sectors according to house gua. Can these rooms be used as bedrooms in spite of the bad stars there? Thanks

Dear Joey, My double storey house was built in year 1999, facing south 2 sitting north. We move in to this house year 2000. My question is 1)Do i have to renovate my house to change to period 8 house? If yes, how should i renovate my hse (change part of floor tiles, change door, change part of roof). If not, please advise what period of hse chart do i follow, period 7 or period 8? Regards Julie

When taking the Facing direction of a House ,we must stand FACING OUT with back Towards the house .But should we stand at the MIDDLE of the house (even if the door is located at the corner ) or at the door or just anywhere ? I had read a few articles in other feng shui book always said that we must stand in the Centre Point of the house for direction taking . Best regards .

My house facing direction is NORTH and the entrance star for period 8 are 9 and 7. If I do a renovation to the main entrace door to face NORTH EAST 1 and back door as SOUTH WEST, would my house facing direction change to NORTH EAST facing direction and the main entrance door for period 8 change to 8 and 2? The rest of the sector of the house for period 8 would also follow the star of NORTH EAST facing direction and no more following the star of NORTH facing direction. Please advise and thank you.

Hi Joey, enjoyed your talk in Utar recently. Need to ask your opinion. Since in FS we have our best 4 directions and we also must identify our locations, right? I understand when we are facing one of our best directions, we might be located in one of our worst locations. So, in this case, which is more significant or more important or in better position? To face our best direction or to be in in the best location ? assuming when i face my best direction, i would in in my worst location. Thanks... PC

Dear Master JY, i had just finished reading Stories and Lessons on Feng Shui. Under page 68, it has stated that in the coming year 2006, west sector in ones home/office will be afflicted by negative qi five yellow sha. My concern is my husband who had started a small bussiness in mid 2004.He is a west group person and in his single floor office, his room is located in the west sector with his sitting position facing east. So, in the coming new year, if we are unable to shift to another sector due to space constrain, is hanging a metal wind chime enough to avoid bad effects from the sha? Do we need to consult Feng Shui practioner each year to check onones house/office to ensure a year long good luck? Thanks and keep on the good works!!!

Dear Joey' I plan to buy a house facing Northwest . My husband number is 3, my son is 9 and mine is 4 . I know nothing about Fengshui but when I go to your website I know a little bit more . Thank you Joey. I know that direction is not good for us . But can we do something to avoid the bad thing ? Can we live in that house if we can choose the master bed room in good sector. Please advise us.
