I was born on 9th of February year 1977. Technically speaking, I am a snake person. But my mother told me that I was born before the Chinese New Year of that particular year (the chinese new year was in mid february that month due to "yuen yeet"), which will make me a dragon person instead. Dear Sally, You are a snake. The Chinese New Year is celebrated according to the Lunar calendar, hence the date is not static but governed by the movements of the moon. The animal of the year and the gua for the person, which is used in Feng Shui, is calculated acording to the Solar calendar, hence it is usually the 4th February except in a Leap Year, which is the 5th February. As a result you are classified as being born in a fire snake year. Regards Di
