How do I determine the direction of my house, for example do I stand at the door facing outwith the compass or turn around facing inside of the house facing my living area?

Hi Joey, I have read in some books and they mentioned about kitchen facing north-west is negative for the owner where it depletes the owner financial resources & health. My house is facing north and my kitchen is in the north-west corner. What can I do to improve the negative vibes, other than moving house or doing renovation? Thank you. peter Boey

After watching few episod, you are a great advicer and provide very simple terms and make us easy to understand all about "fengshui". Many Thanks! I have recently brought a new home (3 storey). However I had many (infact too many) advice of what should be my dinning table. Some say it had to be circle marble for dinning table, as it is solid and rounded (without end) of properity. some suggested to used wood (with certain reason). I believe the correct dinning table used will enhance "fengshui" for prosperity, right? Please advice what should i have for my dinning table. Marble? Glass? Wood? etc... and should it be rounded? or square? Because my neighbour pratically throw away her glass dinning table as she believe it had bring her bad luck and bad prosperity. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the show on TV 8. As for episode 7 showing the wealth sector. The CEO/Director room was sitting on the so call "Period Star" No.5 sector is a evil star, and the annual flying star(2005)for this sector is No.2 is a sickness star. My question is :- Which star carry more weight :- Period Star, Annual Star, Mountain Star & Water Star? As the term "Water govern Wealth" is commonly use by many feng shui practitioner, what is the actual meaning for the term "WEALTH" in chinese metaphysics. In those days the old folks use to advice us wealth means health & wisdom. Without good health & wise wisdom we can`t generate much soild cash, as money don`t fall from sky. Regards, Irene Chan.

Dear Sherwin Ng, I have a period 8 office lot facing E3/ sitting W3 and my entrance is at the SE. The entire building is facing E3/ sitting W3. According to the house gua the SE is Liu Sha sector and my the flying star 9 is at the toilet. I have make a partition to block sector 7 and sector 3 just to put up my signboard at the entrance. My office is located at sector 1 and 5, and the entrance to my office is at sector 5 facing E and my desk is located at sector 1 facing my Sheng Qi (South). My question is: 1) What can I do to overcome the Liu Sha sector 7 which is my main entrance.? 2) Should I make another door at the partition of sector 3 because there is a lucky flying star (1) at sector 3? 3) Is it alright to have both sector 1 and sector 5 to be my office? 4) Should I make my office entrance to face south? Hope to hear from you soon. Rgds Jonathan Ng

Dear Joey, This question is about my mother's house. We moved into this new house in 1984, hence this is a period 7 house. Does this mean that even if we are now in period 8, we still use a period 7 chart to audit this house? And also we have the yearly flying star chart, and being in period 8, does this mean that the current yearly flying star chart cannot be used to audit my mother's house? Your advise is most appreciated. Thank you - CMF

Dear Joey, After reading your book 'Bazi The Destiny Code', I tried and plot my on Destiny Chart and found that there is a goat and horse combination in the earthly branch. Referring to your 'The Ten Thousand Year Calendar', there is a reference in there that 'goat and horse' combined to become 'Moon and Sun'. I know that it is in the advanced Bazi reading, but since I discovered it in my chart, I am interested to know that meaning of the combination and the effect, since 'Moon and Sun' is not in the 5 elements. Thank you. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Joey In your talk on creating positive wealth for good chi, does a person qua number have direct effect on positioning of furniture or whatever needs to be done. For example, my qua no. is 2, my best wealth position say, is west. If my house position for wealth is in a different position, say north. How does one interpret. Thank you.

Dear Joey, If it's not at my liberty to change my sitting place or placing a potted plant in my workplace to break a poison arrow pointing at me, is there any other way more practical to counter the poison arrow? Would placing a crystal ball or other feng shui accessories on my working desk do any good to my career? Please help. Thank you. regards, Gordon PJ birth date:20-04-71

Your TV series have been very entertaining & informative. I have downloaded and printed all your episode 1 - 7 and have the following questions: 1. All the Flying Charts are in perfect squares and you mentioned to superimpose over the house plan. How do we fit that into a "non-square" house? Eg. mine is a long rectangle and I'm sure some houses are L-shaped too. 2. Your Flying Chart tool on the website produced a 'diamond' shaped chart for my NW-facing house. How do I superimpose that on my house plan (again, rectangle shaped)? 3. For office, chart for building is OK but what if I occupy only a small lot on one of the floors? Your TV prog. used an example of a whole floor. Will my office direction be affected? I am sure many of your viewers/ fans will like this clarified in your next episode. Using your tool in your website, my 8-mansion life qua is 6, Metal, West Group, Fire Goat. Thanks for your attention and many good wishes to you and your team !!!

Referring to Vin Leo Reply on 29/8/2005 to Ujinanc regarding house located near cemetery, Vin's reply is that many burial grounds are most 'prosperous'. Being a Chinese, we believe that the dead and the living use different school of fung shui. Please clarify? How can a place prosperous for the dead is good for the living? Thanks.
