Referring to Vin Leo Reply on 29/8/2005 to Ujinanc regarding house located near cemetery, Vin's reply is that many burial grounds are most 'prosperous'. Being a Chinese, we believe that the dead and the living use different school of fung shui. Please clarify? How can a place prosperous for the dead is good for the living? Thanks.

Dear Mrs Liew, the purpose of Yin House Feng Shui (burial) is to find a prosperous location that can benefit the descendants of the deceased. If the grounds are not prosperous then the decendants will not benefit. The fundamentals of Feng Shui - to find the spot that receives optimum levels of Qi based on the landforms - are the same. Anything other than this would of course not be Feng Shui. We Chinese have many cultural beliefs. Cheers! SN
