Hello Mr. Joey Yap. Hi my name is Daniel See. I as a Christian would like to know whether Christians can practice Feng Shui. Feng Shui is connected with idolatry worship & superstitious practices. Is it true? Thank's.

Hi Joey, I am confused as to which is my main door. I am trying to apply the 8 mansions to my newly bought apartment. I have a row of windows in my living room facing the North where most of the wind will flow through into my house. It is facing an unblocked field. However, my supposedly main door (ie the door to enter into my house) is facing the Southeast. When opened, it faces a wall beside my neighbour's house. So which of the two is considered my main door? Would appreciate your kind reply. Thanks a lot

My Gua Number is 3. According to the 8 Mansion Reference Chart, my good locations are South. North, South-East & East. And the worst location is at West. (The kitchen is located at this area). But, when I look at the House Gua (House is sitting on North-West and facing South-East 1) all the good sectors are now belonging to the bad sectors. And West sector is the Sheng Qi location where the stove is sitting directly on it. It is very difficult for me to shift to other locations because it entails major renovation. After knowing about the House Gua (something very new) it makes me worried. What should I do? Please advise.

Mr.Joey Yap, If it is not contradictory, then when do we use the Bazi method and when do we use the Feng Shui method? Can you elaborate the different aspects of application? This issue is rather confusing. Please clarify. Thank you Lee Min Teck

My Gua number is 8

Dear Joey, My house faces NE2, with the main door at the right-end.It was built in 1982, we shifted in in 1988.I am Gua 5 and my wife is Gua 9. My question: As NE is facing burglary star #7, is it fact or myth that a powerful cure is to place a double horn rhinoceros image in this sector, to protect against the #7 star? Thank you.

My husband kua no. 2, our 3 kids & I all kua no.8. House period 7 sits NW faces SE2/3. Master b/room covers E,SE & S.Children sleep in N sector. Has another unoccupied room in W.Hse has another side door (E) besides main one at SE.My Q is: a) Is it alright to continue using the master room since afflicted with 3 killings, #2 star (bed in E), #3 star (SE), bed facing adjoining toilet (S)? But W room is afflicted with Grand Duke Jupiter, alright to use? b) If we continue using the main door (SE) will it aggravate the #3 star? c) What is house kua (missed last Sun's episode), is it the period chart of the house? d) What if a good room as per hse kua is afflicted by annual or monthly flying star or vice versa? Which one 'over rules' which? e) Period 7 water * for our hse is in SE. Can we activate it (its afflicted with #3 star? Thanks.

Dear Joeyyap, TK Lee. Flying Star Feng Shui, 360 degrees of the compass is divided into 24 directions and again sub-divided into 8 directions and then into 3 sub direction (compass varietion is 30 degree , 10 degree in one sub-drection. My house is facing North, how to determine if the direction is pointing exadtly 10 degree before the centre line of 15 degree towards North. Say, if the 30 degrees is divided and name North 1 -, North 2, North 3, each 10 degrees difference., so the 10 degree is in North 1 or North 2. This is to help me to superimpose the Flying Stars Chart into my house plan. For beginner like me, please recommend me, what types of Joey Yap Feng Shui books to start first so can practise at home. Thank you for your kind attention.

Dear Master Yap, I, have 2 questions which I hope you could help in clearing. Firstly, the house which I bought has the toilet directly above the main door. Is this good or bad? Please advise. Secondly, can I have the gas stove placed in the northwest sector of the house. From my reading of other feng shui books the northwest sector is the Patriach sector or the Heaven's Gate sector which is not advisable to have the stove placed there. Your advise, please.

In your book, Bazi the Destiny Code, you said that the Day Master's Earthly Branch is the reference point to find the Peach Blossom Star. However, in the episode 8 of your TV program, you mentioned that the Peach Blossom Star is based on animal sign in the year in which a person is born. Which is the correct way to find a person Peach Blossom Star? Or are there two methods?

Dear Joey, As the chinese always say that left is green dragon and right is white tiger from the property inside looking out. Is this correct? Or should it be the east side green dragon and west white tiger. Then someone proclaim feng shui master telling me that I should not placing water (i.e aquarium) at the right side of my home (inside looking out) because it feeding the white tiger? Is this truth or myth. Thank you in advance.

Dear Joey, My wife and I religiously follow your programme on 8TV every Sunday. We are very interested in the subject of Feng Shui, even more so when you are educating us the facts from myths. We have a question: My wife is having gua no. 3 and I m gua no.4, both of us are east group . Our home is facing palace : NW2, main door : NW2 The water star 8 and the bad star 5 are located at main door this year. Can we activate the water star with a small fountain this year, while controlling/subdue the effects of the bad star 5 at this corner? Will activating the water star 8 concurrently activate the bad star 5? My TV is located at W corner Thank you.
