According to some Chinese beliefs our lives are some how fated. If this is true, can fung shui turn a poor man become very rich? Can we change our destiny/fate by just tapping the chi around us?

My name : Lydia Chai Yee Xuan My email address : lydia_chai91@hotmail.com My house address : MT, 97, Taman Sinn, Ujong Pasir, 75050 Melaka, Malaysia. Hi! I’m Lydia from Malacca. I have a question here for you. I wonder why the brides and bridegrooms wore their ring on the forth finger. Does that symbolism any lucky in their marriage? I mean did it relate to Feng Shui? Well, how about all those strict rules like example, all those unbelievable believes by all kinds of races. Example for the Chinese, they can’t sweep the floor during the first day of Lunar Chinese New Year because it was believed that if they sweep the floor, it means that they are sweeping away their luck too. I know that this is believes by people from ages ago and it was a tradision now. I would like to know, does it really relate to Feng Shui? Or it’s just as simple as believes by different races? I hope to see this question appeared and I would like to hear more about this because I have been thinking about this question long time ago. Take care, good luck and thanks for reviewing this.

Joey, From your TV session, I learnt that one's fortune could be determined by his/her facial appearance. Hence, could one's fortune be enhanced by performing plastic surgery on the face ? If YES, and one is determined for such surgery, which feature (part of the face) should be enhanced for wealth and fame ?

Dear Master, I was born in the year of 1971 and when calculating my life gua no, it ended with 13, but there is no such gua number in your chat, does it mean that i have to add up 1 and 3, so it became 4 as my gua number? Thank you very much for your time.

Dear Joey, I have been following your program on TV. I need your advice on a piece of ‘art’ that I bought while travelling in East Malaysia. It is a 4-foot-long crocodile carved from wood. Is it bad to display the croc in my living room? Will there be any bad energy or shar qi as a result of having such ‘creature’ in my house? Or should I just throw it away? Please advice. Thank you. Kelvin Chong Kuala Lumpur P/S: FYI, the croc is still wrapped in a box.

Hi Joey, I have just finished reading The Bazi Destiny Code, a well presented and structured book for a biginner. for the calculation of the Hourly pillar, there are other refereces that recommended the local time of birth be adjusted to Beijing's time for accurate reading as BAZA originates from CHina, what is your view ? and also some uses the following day for the Day pillar if the time of birth is after 11 pm, Is that correct ? thanks and look forward to your reply.

Hi Joey, I read from one of the daily newspaper that we should not place a mirror directly facing the main door entrance. Is it true? How this relates to the flow of Qi? FYI, i placed a mirror on top of the decorative closet that is about 12-13 feet from the main door entrance. Thank you.

Dear Mr Yap Firstly I would like to say that I was very impressed by your programme which I "stumbled upon last Sunday. I did not realise you are a very interesting speaker. Honestly, I am a bit "paranoid" about Feng Sui. In other words, I get "upset" when I hear something negative that describes me. That is why most times I avoid to listen to Feng Shui. But when I saw your programme on Sunday, I was STUCK to it!!! Next thing I knew is I logged into your website and now I have a problem.. I checked out your "8 Mansion Feng Shui Calculator" and the result?! My "Ming Gua" is "6" and when I go through the notes - what I feared most came "true" - the position of my bedroom!!!! I have a small house which master bedroom is in front - which means facing East...and I have just got an apartment - a ONE ROOM studio apartment - and yes, facing EAST!!! And since this is a one room apartment, yes, the MAIN door is also facing East!!!!!!!Is this luck or fate? And this East term is called "Five Ghosts" - a word I quite fear!!!!! Needless to say, all these really BOTHER me - I only hope you are able to give me a "remedy" PLEASE - Hopefully you can HELP me - and please be use simple terms, I am ver vague in Feng Shui terms (also not chinese literate)......please send the reply to my email addres.... Thank you very much........

Dear Master Yap, I understand from a previous answer that if we move into a house after 4th Feb 2004 it's a period 8 house, even though the house was completed before the date. Does this apply to apartments as weLL? What period chart should I use if I move into my apartment unit (previously unoccupied) this year but the whole building was completed before 4th Feb 2004? Please enlighten so that I can apply the correct chart when you teach us how to activate the stars. Thank you. Liu Tzu Tan, 3-16-20, Desa Ixora, Solok Angsana, Bandar Baru Ayer Itam, 11500 Penang
