Dear JY, My friend said about my new house is a bad feng Shu house, please help, JY. Particularly, my new house main door is facing direction of North, the master room is positioned in N/NE/E and its door is facing N, and the guest room is positioned in SE/E and its door is facing SE. The study room is positioned in SW dan its door is facing SW, and the kitchen is positioned in SE and its door is facing SE. And the staircase is positioned in NW/W and the entrance is facing NW. I am not expecting a perfect feng shui house but at least is safe for me to stay in. John

I live in a junction house nextdoor to No. 44 and facing a road aptly named Jalan E4. My friends say my house is one that would make any Feng Shui master tremble in fear if not surrender instantly. Does this mean that my house is a "total write-off" or beyond salvation? Anyway suggestions on how to improve these mitigating effects of bad luck? I have no intention of moving out.

dear JY, I have bought the BaZi- The Destiny Code, and is surprised to find out from BaZi calculation that my celestial animal sign is Rooster instead of Monkey which i assumed all my life. I was born in 1969, 9th Feb. at 9.30am.. which by chinese lunar calendar was year of monkey. However, base on chinese solar calendar i'm considered a Rooster now.. Does it mean that when i refer to .. say your annual outlook for 2005 or any of these outlook predictions on TV/Newspaper/magazines, i should start to read under Rooster sign ?? When i search into the thousand year calendar book, manually looking my BaZi... the month, date and time is still remain in the year of monkey, it's just the year.. i'm considered a rooster... is this correct? a bit of confusion though. Anyway, i would appreciate if you could clear the air for me.. thanks best regards

Joey, I just found out that I am bornt in the year of the Wood Rabbit instead of Dragon, having assumed that all my life! If that's not worst, my Ming Gua is also wrong!!! Another online calcultor said my Ming Gua is 9 but your wbsite says I'm 8. Upon calculating manually with a colleague, I realised that I was wrong, my ming gua is indeed 8!! Problem is I have applied the 8 mansions feng shui star direction according to my ming gua 9 and I dun know how to rectify it!!! pls advise.

i have read from a feng shui book stated that it is ideal if your bedroom is rectangular or square. but when there is a bathroom attached, the bedroom will become L shape. In this case, would it consider as a bad bedroom? what should we do to fine tune it? Thanks.

Here is my simple but pertinent (i feel) question; "Would my instinct or feelings supersede the feng shui rules in general? For example, it's advisable by 'fengshui' to sleep with the head board of the bed against the solid wall. However, I feel uncomfortable doing so and decided to do otherwise (sleeping with the headboard not against the wall, in fact the opposite with the tail end of my bed against the wall or feet pointing to the wall). My friend wish to buy a double storey link unit which happen to be the 8th house in a row of 15 houses. One of her best friend advice her that the house was inasupicious b`cos it sit in the centre of the row which mean like a pair of chopstick clipping on it or that house has to support both side on it as both side has 7 houses. Hi Master Joey Yap, best wishes to u. My room is an auspicious sector covering W and NW sectors. This is based on Period 7 Flying Star Chart for house facing S1 that shows 5-9 for W and 4-1 for NW. However, based on 8 Mansion House Qua, W is Huo Hai and NW is Liu Sha. Room door is facing E, located in SE of the room. Which system should I use and why ? Appreciate your reply soon, thank you.
