On the 11th of September, Joey Yap was invited to a book signing and to give a short talk at Popular Bookstore at the Ikano Power Center in Mutiara Damansara here in Malaysia. Scheduled for 2.30pm on a relaxed Saturday afternoon, it was organised so that Popular Bookstore readers would have an opportunity to meet Joey Yap and also learn a little bit more from him in the process.

Even before Joey Yap arrived, the DVD of his Feng Shui for Period 8 Seminar was already playing and an interested crowd had already gathered. By the time Joey was ready to greet and meet the attendees, the seats were already full. As the talk was a short talk, there was only enough time to go over the basics and introduce some of the more important concepts.

As the talk began, more and more curious shoppers began to gather until the walkway was overflowing with eager listeners. It was standing room only and by the time Joey had gotten to the end of his talk - the Question & Answer session was abuzz with the audience posing a multitude of questions to clear up any doubts they were having.

"It was an interesting talk, I wish he had been given more time to answer our questions though", remarked one audience member.

"Talks like this are a good way to get to know the person behind the book or the DVD program we have seen. I am very happy to have been able to catch him in person, I will be coming for the January talk for sure", said Dorothy and Lam, a couple who had been browsing in Popular and had stumbled upon the talk coincidentally.
