The Ze Ri Mastery Series Module 1 and 2 were held in Singapore at the Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel between December 5 and 8 this year. The classes saw a good turnout of students ready to learn the intricacies of Date Selection.
Ze Ri Module 1, which focuses on Personal and Feng Shui Date Selection, took place between December 5 – 6. In this class, Joey went right into the heart of things describing the significance of Date Selection in Chinese culture and history, and drawing on its importance in Feng Shui and Chinese Metaphysics. As Joey explains, why the subject itself is sometimes underrated, it is in fact the key that unlocks all the power of one’s Feng Shui and BaZi applications.
Joey then took students through the technicalities of Date Selection with the Year, Month, and Day Star systems. For a more practical grasp of the subject, students were taught how to incorporate these techniques with their respective birth dates. Joey shared the reason for the potency of Date Selection application – which goes beyond selecting the right date for the right activity, but also about selecting the date that will produce the desired outcome.
The end of the Module was reserved for studies and analyses of real-life case studies. This was so students were able to put into practice all that they had learned while the subject matter was still fresh on their minds.
December 7 – 8 was for Ze Ri Module 2, Xuan Kong Da Gua Date Selection. This Module, as befitting an intermediate class, was a little more rigorous and technical in its scope. Date Selection was explained in context of the BaZi Clashes and Combinations. The 64 Hexagrams of the Yi Jing also play a significant role in Module 2.
Probably the highlight of the Module for students was the fact that they learned how to influence direct results. In this sense, Date Selection was more predictive than they ever imagined!
The class was lively, as it provided many opportunities for the students to practice their Date Selection knowledge as they went along. Joey fielded many questions from interested students, often divulging information about his own experiences with Date Selection throughout his years as practitioner and teacher. This added an interesting layer to the class and it was a much-enjoyed experience by all.
