The opulent Grand Ballroom of the Renaissance Hotel, Kuala Lumpur was the chosen venue for Joey Yap's BaZi One Day Seminar. A whole day affair , dedicated to the fascinating subject of BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny) or Chinese Astrology.

It was a Full House! The audience comprised individuals from all walks of life - from high-end dignitaries to corporate figures to the average Malaysian with an interest in Feng Shui and Chinese Astrology. Seats quickly filled up early in the day as the participants enthusiastically awaited Joey Yap's arrival. By 10am, the ballroom was packed.

    

The seminar started with an overview and introduction to BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny) and the benefits of BaZi knowledge for corporate and personal decision-making and risk management. Joey then moved on to the fundamentals and basic tenets of BaZi, from the mechanics of the Five Elements to the understandings of the Ten Gods, or stars. Each member of the audience was given their very own BaZi chart, thus enabling them to examine and analyse their own charts while listening to Joey's thorough and clear explanations of BaZi analysis techniques.

      

The highlight of the day was Joey's detailed examination of the BaZi charts of celebrities and famous people. The impressed audience watched and listened with rapt attention as Joey analysed the BaZi charts of famous individuals such as Marilyn Monroe, Emperor Qian Long of the Qing Dynasty, Bill Gates, Bill Clinton, Hilary Clinton and even Monica Lewinsky!

    

    

The one-day seminar was interspersed with a lunch break and a tea break. During these breaks, Joey was besieged by audience members brimming with BaZi questions. With his usual candid style and friendly demeanor, Joey obliged and answered each and every question, juggling his cup of coffee in one hand, charts of curious audience members in the other!

    

A Q & A session was held at the end of the seminar, and the questions put forth were both pertinent and intriguing. Joey answered each query in his usual style, short, precise and comprehensive answers. It was an enlightening and certain, educational occasion for all present.
