Joey Yap was invited by Popular, a Malaysian chain of bookstores, to present a talk at its large and indeed popular BookFest @ Malaysia 2008 on Saturday, May 24 2008. While the BookFest itself attracted a large amount of people, a sizeable amount showed up to hear Joey speak on his topic, "Feng Shui for Career and Relationship."

Joey took the curious and eager-to-learn crowd through the elements of Feng Shui for better job satisfaction and career progress. He also highlighted the ways in which Feng Shui could be used for a more satisfying personal life by applying it to achieve more meaningful and sustained relationships.

At the end of the talk, new and longtime fans got a chance to browse through and purchase the extensive collection of books by Joey on sale. In addition, they had the opportunity to meet and exchange a few words with him during the book signing session, where those who were interested got their books signed by him for posterity. All in all, it was an informative, pleasurable, and entertaining session for all who turned up!
