Lion City residents discover how to harness the Feng Shui of their Apartments & Condominiums

August 12th, Raffles City Convention Center, Singapore

Singapore, the Lion City, is renowned for its efficient usage of land. Its landscape is dominated by high-rises and unsurprisingly, an overwhelming majority of Singaporean residents live in apartments, HDB flats and condos.

Dealing with Feng Shui for apartments, condos and high-rise buildings, however, is quite different from a landed property. The broad principles of Feng Shui on Qi collection are of course the same – but the application is markedly different. For example, one of the most frequent questions when it comes to Feng Shui-ing a high-rise residence, is how does one determine the Facing of the building?

And on that Sunday morning, an eager crowd of Feng Shui enthusiasts packed the Raffles City Convention Center’s auditorium. The Feng Shui for Apartments and Condominiums, a seminar specially structured by Joey for Singapore’s unique residential landscape, also attracted attendees from all over the world, including architects and real estate professionals, all interested in seeing how Feng Shui was applied to high-rise properties.

Cutting straight to the chase, Joey – through numerous illustrated examples – showed his audience how an apartment’s facing direction is established, which would enable them to determine their own unit’s facing direction. Participants were introduced to and assimilated the many key pointers on how they could maximize their HDB Flat, apartment or condo’s Feng Shui – be it for residential or investment purposes.

Joey’s usual interactive style was met in equal fervour by the enthusiastic crowd, who joined in whenever he posed a quick question. It was a high-energy event all the way, making the learning experience all the more powerful for the attendees.

The Seminar drew to a close but not before a book signing session that gave many of the attendees a chance to speak to Joey personally and get to know him better. Some took the chance to get his advice and even take a few pictures with him.
