Lights.

Cameras.

And at the stroke of seven on that Tuesday evening, the Mastery Academy launched its E-Learning Center `live’ from its headquarters in Kuala Lumpur; witnessed by more than 120 people on their computers, across the world – and a `studio audience’ who only left room for standing space!

The excitement and buzz was well justified.  Imagine being able to be clad in your pajamas, propped against your cushions in your bedroom, and follow an online Feng Shui, BaZi or Mian Xiang course or a live seminar, no matter which corner of the world you are? 

With the E-Learning Center – a brainchild of Joey’s – the traditional barriers that usually hindered Chinese Metaphysics enthusiasts from pursuing their passion are well and truly a thing of the past. 

Indeed, it was an evening where the world made `A Date with Joey’, as was the theme of the event.  And excitement and pride were naturally etched on Joey’s face, as his `real time’ image filled screens all over the world, to warmly welcome and thank his global audience, before serving them the appetizer for the evening; by introducing the E-Learning Center and its various features enthusiastically.

All the while fielding questions posed `live’ and directly from fellow practitioners and students from as far as the USA, UK, Greece, South Africa and Australia, Joey then moved on to the main course: By launching yet another product of the Mastery Academy, in the form of a book titled Personal Date Selection – the first of a newly-conceived series of books called The Art of Selection.

Killing two birds with one stone, Joey introduced his viewers to the book and gave them an overview of its key contents.  He befittingly joked about how good dates made for auspicious outcomes, as was evident from how smoothly the evening proceeded.  Even as he talked, the cameras demonstrated the capability of the E-Learning Center’s online features elegantly by zooming in to provide clear close-ups of some of the diagrams shared by Joey.

What was originally scheduled to be an one-long session had to be extended by an extra half-hour, as Joey’s online audience rained questions upon him at a fast and furious pace – equally engulfed in the spirit and excitement of the moment, too.

And the rest, as the saying goes, is history!
