OCBC Bank Malaysia Bhd’s Premier Banking Unit hosted its first cross-border appreciation night for its top clients from Singapore and Malaysia at a “Loh Sang” dinner held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel on March 3, 2007.

The night kicked off with a repertoire of artistic and creative tunes before Joey Yap took the stage and shared his insights on the Feng Shui and Business outlook for 2007. The useful tips that he imparted were warmly welcomed by the guests judging from their positive response and their applause.

The function was graced by OCBC Bank Bhd’s Director and CEO Dato’ Albert Yeoh who said that the appreciation night was held not only to usher the new year but also to celebrate “the beginning of yet another year of relationship with the bank’s customers.

He added: “Our customers have placed their trust and confidence in us over the years and we look forward to journeying with them during the year of the Fire Boar as well. The year of the Boar is said to be a good year and we certainly want to ensure that we play a part in helping them achieve success and prosperity.”

After his talk, Joey spent some time answering the many questions the attendees had before the night came to a rousing close.
