2nd to 9th of April - San Francisco, U.S.A
In early April, San Francisco welcomed Joey Yap for his first course in USA for 2006. This time, it was Feng Shui Module 3 and BaZi Module 3, which has been specifically requested by students in the States.
Of course, Donna Collins, the course organizer and the Mastery Academy Instructor in the United States had a special surprise for the students – she had spoken to Joey Yap and organized a special mini-Feng Shui Excursion to the surrounding areas in San Francisco.
The Feng Shui Module 3 class was first, held on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of April. This class introduced students to the concept of Landform Feng Shui and taught them more advanced theories and techniques that allowed them to expand on what they had already studied in Feng Shui Module 1 and Module 2.
The students were prepared with questions and the class proceeded smoothly as Joey explained the various landforms that surrounded the hotel and used the surrounding hills as an example of how the landforms in the external environment affected the Qi of the property.
The day after this class was the mini-Feng Shui Excursion Series. Arranged specially by Donna Collins, this took the students around San Francisco to ‘Walk the Mountains’. During the course of the day, Joey took time to explain in detail all the various environmental forms that created the unique Feng Shui potential of San Francisco and how this benefited the residents. He also spoke of the Landform flaws and how this did not lock in the Qi for the area as well as it could. There was also a short trip by ferry to Angel Island, where Joey Yap and the students explored the intricate Landform Feng Shui of the island and also investigated what effect this would have on the inhabitants of the island.
It was an exciting day for the students and a unique opportunity for those who joined Joey Yap on this excursion to see for themselves what Landform Feng Shui was all about and apply in a practical manner all that they had learnt in class.
BaZi Module 3, held on the 7th, 8th and 9th of April was another exciting class. Students in the class had already studied BaZi Module 2 with Joey last year and were looking forward to taking their skills to the next level. It was an intensive class, packed with information and the students were in rapt attention throughout. Many advanced aspects of a BaZi chart and its structure was discussed and Joey taught the students how to look beyond the obvious in a chart and draw correlations between the various stems and branches. An engaging class, Joey often had to pause to take students questions as many needed to clarify the various points and make sure they were clear on it.
