Joey Yap was invited by HSBC on the evening of October 6th, 2005, to give a talk titled Feng Shui on Business and Investment. Held at the Hilton Petaling Jaya, the audiences were made up of Premier banking clients who were keen to utilize Feng Shui as an added edge to their investments. Joey Yap began the talk with his trademark introduction on classical Feng Shui and the theories involved. Some members of the audience were seen to be deep in concentration as this topic was something new and interesting to them. With his usual witty style, Joey kept the audience's attention and many were quickly taking down notes especially when he proceeded to teach them basic tips on how to use Feng Shui in enhancing their business and investment opportunities.

The presentation was followed by a Q & A session that gave Joey some time to spend with the attendees in clarifying any doubts that they may have. Some of the attendees also took this opportunity to get a copy of his books and DVDs.
