18th September 2005 - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Sundays are usually a day of rest for most of us, but for Joey Yap it was a day to share his passion of Face Reading with a full class of eager students as he
conducted the Mian Xiang (Face Reading) Module 1 course. This course was held on September 18th at the Mastery Academy head office here in Kuala Lumpur. This was
the first Mian Xiang course after the hugely successful
Face Reading Seminar that was held on August 14th last month.
Students started arriving at the venue as early as an hour before the course commenced. This was a great opportunity for them to mingle with each other. As most of them
attended the Face Reading Seminar last month, it was clear that they were trying to analyze each other’s face.
Joey started the course by explaining to them the fundamentals of Mian Xiang. As this subject was always conducted in a light-hearted manner, it was obvious that Joey as
well as the students were enjoying themselves right from the start. The highlight of the course was when Joey discussed about the specific areas of the face such as the
ears, forehead, nose, mouth etc., this is when students started examining each other’s face in greater detail and enjoying themselves at it. Laughter filled the classroom
as Joey explained certain peculiar facial characteristics in greater detail.
It was a day the students will not forget easily as what they learnt was really an eye-opening experience. “Joey has interpreted the details very clearly and made the class
more fun. I enjoyed myself very much,” said student Chin Chien Tze,
