On the 18th of February 2005, Joey Yap was invited by First Solution Sdn Bhd to give a talk on the Feng Shui and Astrology for 2005.

This was held to fete their valued clients and business partners, in conjunction with the spirit of Chinese New Year.

Joey began by giving a very short introduction to classical Feng Shui and how to differentiate it from the more commercial variety of Feng Shui. He then launched into the various potentials and weaknesses that are we will be experiencing in the coming year of the Wood Rooster. Entertaining some questions from the floor, Joey also gave them some easy ideas on how to rectify a less than ideal situation within your home or office and how to make the best of certain situations.

Also, in order to provide some additional insight into what the year of the Wood Rooster would have lined up for those born under the various Chinese Zodiac Animal signs, Joey Yap presented more information on what was to be expected and how the various animal signs were affected and what could be done about it.

As a bonus, Joey also threw in some face reading tips that would benefit the attendees should they be involved in discussions and what they should look out for on an individuals face.

After his talk, Joey Yap joined a number of senior managers from First Solution as well the General Manager of IBM Malaysia, a number of other CEO's and managing directors of their business partner companies for a lunch. It was a very merry occassion with much talk centered on the year ahead and how things would fare for the IT industry.
