The Kinokuniya Bookstore at Takashimaya Shopping Centre, Ngee Ann City in Orchard Road, Singapore, was abuzz with excitement as people started to crowd the bookstore before 7pm to meet Joey Yap up-close.

Joey Yap was in the Lion City on August 12 to launch his latest book, The Power of X: Enter the 10 Gods, the long-awaited third installment to the BaZi: Destiny Code series.

During the book launch, Joey also gave a talk about his book and the Destiny Code. He explained about BaZi, a Destiny and Personality Analysis study under Chinese Astrology.

For the benefit of those who are new to BaZi, Joey gave a quick lesson on the BaZi chart, Luck Pillars, Stems and Branches, Clashes and Combinations, the Five Elements and the Ten Gods of BaZi. He also demonstrated how BaZi works with a sample BaZi chart reading. This truly piqued the interest of many who were present at the book launch and had shown eagerness to learn more about it.

Some of Joey's fans also appeared with their BaZi charts in hand, hoping to get a personal reading from the man himself.

A book signing session was also held at the end of the event.
