As most Feng Shui students know, Xuan Kong Mastery courses are rare. After a two-year hiatus, Xuan Kong programs are taught again this year- in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, beginning with Modules 1 and 2A last June, and now, the Module 2B program on July 15 to 16.
Xuan Kong Module 2B is an advanced program that focuses on the Purple White Scriptpersonally conducted by Joey Yap. The students were largely comprised of practitioners and serious upper-level enthusiasts, who were eager to study the sophisticated techniques of advanced Xuan Kong Feng Shui.

Excitement was definitely in the air throughout the entire program, as the students had been waiting for some time to study the Purple White syllabus, especially under Joey's tutelage. Joey eased the students into getting acquainted with the Purple White Fundamentals, the concepts of the Purple White Nine Stars, and the Purple White Combinations.
They also delved deeper into the subject with the analysis and study of the Upper Scrolls of the Purple White Script.While the Lower Scrolls have been the main focus of studythus far- because it imparts the applications - the Upper Scrolls have largely been overlooked as it focuses on the concepts and is largely obscured by its complicated nature. These include the 8 Mystical Doorways, House Master, Period Master, and the Year Replace Year, Month Replace Month, Floor Replace Palace, and Entrance Replace Rooms.

The toughest part is that this classic text has been shrouded in an obscure language style of ancient times, which made itsunderstanding– especially for students in the English-speaking world – a steep challenge. However, with the help of Joey and some useful references, the students had no problem to finally learn the details of this fascinating subject.
This two-day program was indeed a valuable course for the students as they had a rare chance to learn the specialized techniques of the Xuan Kong Purple White and more from Joey Yap himself. Now, they are able to incorporate these techniques and concepts into their practice of Xuan Kong Feng Shui with confidence.
