About 600 employees of MSIG Malaysia, a leading general insurance company, attended a two-day talk on Mian Xiang or Chinese Face Reading taught by Joey Yap and Mastery Academy instructor, Sherwin Ng, recently.
Held at the Auditorium & Convention Centre at Menara Hap Seng, Kuala Lumpur, the talk was organized as part of the MSIG Malaysia's Annual Staff Development Program to encourage new skills amongst its employees, which consists mainly of the management and administration personnel. The talk, entitled Face Reading for Health, Wealth & Happiness, was divided into two sessions each day, starting from 12.30pm to 2pm.
Joey led the instruction on Day One, where he gave a quick introduction on the history of Mian Xiang and its practices in ancient times, which includes health diagnosis used by Chinese medicine practitioners.
He elaborated further on the aspects of health in Face Reading, showing the basics on ways to differentiate between good and bad facial features based on shape, fleshiness, indentation, and moles, scars and lines. He explained how the various internal organs are linked to different facial features and how early signs of sickness can be detected from there.
As health is a major concern of many in this day and age, Joey stressed on the importance for everyone to learn how to identify the tell-tale indicators of poor health so that they can prevent matters from escalating to serious condition.
On Day Two, Sherwin took over the talk with a focus on Face Reading for relationship. Face Reading can help to deduce the personality of a person and the way he or she connects in a relationship. In short, it is used to determine whether a person has a good or bad affinity to you according to his or her facial features.
As the talk is interactive, the participants were encouraged to practice Face Reading with each other as they progressed. This helped them to learn and remember better and faster. Not only that, it also made the sessions more fun and enjoyable.
By the end of the two-day talk, the participants were able to apply the techniques they learnt almost immediately, which may prove useful for their work.
For those interested to further their knowledge on Face Reading, they can sign up for the next Mian Xiang Mastery course at Mastery Academy.
