For 2015, the Year of the Wood Sheep, The Manila Times sought the permission of Asia's leading Feng Shui and Chinese Astrology consultant Joey Yap to publish his forecast for host hotel Resorts World Manila (RWM).

Yap gave a "Feng Shui and Astrology Seminar" on the Year of the Wood Goat at RWM's Marriott Hotel on January 29.

A Chinese Astrology consultant, Yap is the founder of the Mastery Academy of Chinese Metaphysics, a global organization devoted to the teaching of Feng Shui, BaZi, Qi Men Dun Jia, Mian Xiang and other Chinese Metaphysics subjects.

Yap began learning Chinese Metaphysics from masters in the field when he was 15 years old. He graduated with a Commerce degree in Accounting but never practiced the profession. Instead, he began to give seminars, talks and professional Chinese Metaphysics consultations around the world. He is also an avid property investor who also holds an interest in diverse businesses.

By age 26, Yap became a self-made millionaire. In 2013, in recognition of his work and contribution to the industry, society and country, he received the prestigious Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP award, which granted him the official title of Dato'. In 2014, he was named as one of the The Inspiring Top 10 Malayasian Millionaires by RHA Media, a publication on high achievers and the affluent society in Malaysia.

He is also the bestselling author of over 145 books on Feng Shui, Chinese Astrology (BaZi), Qi Men Dun Jia, Face Reading and Yi Jing, which has sold more than three million copies to date.
