I am doing flat hunting now.And I came to know about Feng shui and I started reading books about it.I cam to know about you from one of my friends and I started viewing your videos. I myself grabbed a copy of 'Feng-shui for Apartment buyers & Home owners'. This is a good book which I ever had about this subject. But when read through this book, I had couple of questions in my mind. They are listed below.
a) You mentioned that, Flying Star feng-shui is best suitable for apartments, not Eight mansion. Why is it so?
b) In another book on Feng-Shui, I read that, based on my date of birth(DOB- 11 oct 1976), my element is Fire, but in your book it is mentioned as Metal. Why is so?
I will be very happy if you can answer this questions.
Awaiting response... Arun
Thank you for reading my books and watching my videos. My answers below:
a) Long story with many technical reasons. But to keep it short, Flying Stars has 'vertical' analysis, where as Eight Mansions is basically horizontal. Much of the details is explained in our Feng Shui Mastery Course. There is a Homestudy Version of this program if you have no time to study in person in a live class. Check it out at www.masteryacademy.com
b). You have confused YEAR Pillar element with Feng Shui Life Gua element. In Feng Shui, you are reference as Qian Gua, which belongs to Metal. In BaZi (Astrology), your year pillar is the Fire Dragon. They are both correct, but applied in different ways. If you are doing Feng Shui, your reference should be Qian Gua - meaning Qian Trigram, which is Metal.
