Dear Mrs Chong,
You take the last two digits of your year of birth. Then add them together untuil you have a single digit. For females you add it to five and for men, you take it from 10.
EG:
1960
6 + 0 = 6 (this is a single digit)
6 + 5 = 11 (this is NOT a single digit)
1 + 1 = 2
You Gua Number or Life Gua is 2.
