My brother house has the main door facing EAST and the back door facing WEST. He intends to replace the awning at the back of his house after Chinese New Year. Since 2006 5 yellows and Grand Duke are at West and North West respectively. Can he go ahead to replace the awning without activating five yellows and Grand Duke by the knocking and drilling on the walls? Plse advise.TQ.

Dear Eddie, I would caution against knocking and drilling, since after Feb 4th the 5 Yellow enters the West. If you really must, proper date selection is crucial to ensure that the volitile Qi of the 5 Yellow is at its weakest. Cheers. SN
