We are using an induction stove in our kitchen. Is this considered a metal since it is using magnetic field as compared to fire for a gas stove?

Hi Ronald, induction stoves are still 'Fire' in nature. That's because it produces heat which transforms the condition of raw materials. In fact, in the study of 5 Elements (or more correctly, 5 Phases of Qi), we are not referring to the actual fire element, but the NATURE of that energy. Hope I didn't confuse you. Cheers! SN
