I'm staying in a house constructed & occupied in the period of 7; how can I change it to a period of 8 house in order to activate the 8 star(mine is a se2 facing house)

Dear John,
You do not need to change the period of the house to Period 8 in order to tap the 8 star. All you need to do is activate the 8 star and make sure that there is a door there so that you can receive the qi.
