Hi Joey, my date of birth is 23/12/1981. I calculate my gua using the eight mansion feng shui calculator that provided in your website. The answer is Gua 8. But as long as i know i am not this gua which i been calculate few years ago. Now i a bit confuse about my gua. Can u calculate for me? Thank you ---Kar Yin

Dear Kar Yin, here's how you calculate it --> yr 1981 --> 8+1 = 9. For males, subtract from 10 [10-9 = Gua 1]. For females, add FIVE [9+5 = 14 --> 1+4 = 5]. There is no Gua 5 in the LuoShu, so Gua 5 for males will assume Gua 2, while females assume Gua 8. That's how you arrive at your Gua number 8! Cheers. SN
