Dear Lim, if someone told you that the number 4 is bad because it sounds like 'die' in Cantonese, does it mean that a Westerner, who does not understand Cantonese, will be okay using number 4? Of course not. Similarly, those in house number 88 are not necessarily rich. Cheers. SN
