My house facing NW, my current home office is in NE sector (upstair family hall) as no other place and I am facing N/NW/NE with my back is staircase. I see fengshui book say it is better to have our back is wall and sit facing good direction according to our life gua number. one more thing is the bookselve shall not facing us as the book edge will form as sharp arrow point to us. please verify this. My Gua number is 8

Dear Chong, many individuals work from home today. Your NE sector is not the best. If you can't relocate to a good House Gua sector, then face one of your good directions (Tian Yi, Yan Nian).
