My porch faces directly to a side road. Should I place a Pak Kua mirror to
ward off the Sha Shi from that direction.

Dear Steven,
The usage of Pak Kua mirror was not a tool used in Classical feng Shui. Its introduction has much to do with cultural and spiritual aspects.
