Hi Linda, Since the cut-off point for the Chinese Solar Calendar is Feb 4th, you calculate your Gua number from the year before (1952). Add the last two digits [5+2] to get 7. For Females, add 5 to the number [5+7=12]. Reduce 12 to a single digit again [1+2] and your Gua number is 3. Your good directions are South, North, Southeast, and East. Cheers, Sherwin
