We intend to buy a house soon. Does the number and facing direction of the house have an impact on the feng shui of the house? We are both from the West group and he is KUA 5 Male Earth Monkey) & I am KUA 6 (Female Water Sheep). We are great believers in numbers 8 & 9, thus having a problem looking for houses with the right facing and numbers. We intend to look for a NORTH facing housing sitting SOUTH. Our house also doubles up as an office as we work from home utilizing the SW room. Ploease advise. Thanks.

Hi Cynthia, 'Location' and 'Direction' of buildings play crucial roles in Feng Shui. The house number, however, does not. So go ahead and choose your favourite number. If you intend to find a North facing, South sitting house, the following rooms (sectors) for the house are good - East, Southeast, North, South.
