Hi Joey,

Thank you for sharing your knowledge on Classical Feng Shui. It definitely helps to remove the myths I know about Feng Shui. This year, I would like to buy a HDB flat as investment but unsure if it's a good time to do such big purchase. I have interest in one unit but unsure if it's suitable for me. The block itself is very long and has an unusual shape, which makes it difficult to determine the facing. It's shape is a half Octagon, which has facing in South, East, Northeast and North. The unit I'm interested faces South and has bedroom on the East part of the unit. Based on my Kua number, I belong to West Group. Is it a problem for a West Group person to stay in a East House? The unit is at Level 7 and overlooks a polyclinic and community center. Since the polyclinic and community center is only 3 storey high, it doesn't block this unit. I'm not sure if a unit facing polyclinic is inauspicious. The reason for this last minute investment is because I will be posted to Beijing to work for 2 years. So, is a good chance for me to earn passive income.

 Appreciate your kind advice.

 Sincerely, Tun Leng

Hi Tun Leng,

It is ok for a West Group person to stay in an East Group house provided you stay in the auspicious sectors based on the house gua and with your auspicious directions while inside those sectors.

Cheers,

JY
