Question Posted: 5 Jun 2011 at 12:00:00 AM
Dear Joey Is it considered ill-advised for the bed to share the same wall as the door? And would it be better to place the bed against a solid wall and face an inauspicious direction or have the bed in a diagonal position to face an auspicious direction? Thank you.

Dear Ching,
No. It's perfectly OK to have a bed share the same wall as the door. This is not a major concern in Feng Shui.
Yes, it would be more desirable to have the bed against a solid wall and face an inauspicious direction then to have the bed positioned at an ODD angle, like the corner of a room with an auspicious direction. This is because FORMS supersede FORMULA. Meaning, the Qi generated by the 'FORM' (meaning physical condition) far outweighs the FORMULA (calculation) of Qi flow.
Warmest Regards, JY
