Question Posted: 20 Nov 2006 at 12:00:00 AM
Dear Joey, I have 2 questions here: 1. How to determine the "facing" of a house? 2. My master room, one side of the window is facing 4 lines of traffic (initially was 2 lines) with yellow-stripe for car to slow down as it having 2 traffic light points from one end to another at the same direction of the road, both traffic light points are 500 m away from my house. The busy traffic cause too much noise as heavy truck also paasing by through this road. Shall I cement up this window? For having leg pointing out to window while sleeping,it is alright? Thanks. May

Dear May, [1] take the Facing at the 'facade' of the house - ie. where the house was built intentionally to face. [2] Leg pointing window is not a problem. However, if the externals are too noisy, you may want to have more trees/plants to 'shield away' the busy road. This is a Yin-Yang balancing act. Cheers!
