Hi JY Read you article regarding Dan Brown's BaZi Chart, here are some questions, hopefully you and your team can help me to understand:- 1.Why you say, the Jia Wood is rooted in Chen, I thought the root of Jia Wood is supposed to be Yi Wood? 2.Pardon my ignorant, what do you mean by born in the "Door of Wealth"? 3. What do you mean by Yin (tiger) being the indirect wealth star that is in GROWTH stage? Thanks and look forward to your answer.

Dear Joracey, 'Rooted' [having roots] means that a Heavenly Stem also appears in the Hidden Stems (inside the Branches). When any element is rooted, it is very stable. You can also say that Jia is rooted in Yin, Mao, Wei, Hai - but the rooting quality for each Branch differs greatly. Cheers and have fun with BaZi.
