Question Posted: 20 Feb 2006 at 9:49:58 AM
I had the pleasure of attending a talk by master Joey Yap recently which was arranged by my banker, OCBC. I was told that I could e-mail Feng Shui queries if I had any. I have a query regarding renovation. My wife and I recently bought a new house and wanted to do some renovations before moving in. One of the items we wanted to do is to tile the driveway which is located in the North sector. However, I was recently advised by a friend that this was the "3 Killing" sector for 2006 and as such, I should defer this until next year. Another friend, however, told me that, as long as we haven't moved in to the house, it is fine to renovate the North sector since it is not considered our home yet. Which advise should I listen to?

Dear Michael,

As long as you've not yet moved into the house, it is alright to renovate any sectors in the home. It is even better if you could begin your renovation on a selected good date.

Warm Regards, JY
