Dear Master Joey Yap, Thanks for sharing with all of us on the talks for Apartments. We have always enjoyed your talks but sad to say that there will be only 2 more episode and thats the end. You have made our "Sunday Night" so exciting and special. We have some questions and hope you have the time to reply us. Personal particulars: Ming Gua is " 2 "(Kun) Ming Gua element is "Earth" Belong to "West Group" Q1. To determined the compass reading for the apartment building facing direction, do i stand at the "mid point" of the total length of the whole building (my back behind the building) or do i stand at the "mid point" of the total length of the compound (ie. the perimeter fencing) to determined the compass reading. Q2. To determined the flying star chart, which comes first, the facing direction or the sitting direction. Cos when i take the facing direction it is W285 degree (ie. W3) and sitting direction is E75 degree (ie E1). The flying star chart (downloaded from your website) shows that for Sitting E1 therefore facing is W1. and Sitting E2/E3, the facing is W2/W3. Kindly advise which chart do i follow for the compass reading that i have taken for my apartment does not relate to your chart. Q3. Assumption: If i follow the flying star chart for "Facing W3 and sitting E2/E3" the "Facing Wealth Star No. 8 is in my masterbedroom and following the "House Qua it is in the "Wu Gui which is a bad sector. Therefore do i still sleep in this room or it is advisable to move out from this bad sector. If i move out from this room should i place a water feature to tap the wealth star no. 8? Q4. My apartment house qua is" Facing West, Sitting East". If preference is to move out form the bad sector, (note. masterbedroom in Wu Gui, 2nd bedrrom in Jue Ming the only option that i have is to move into the 3rd room, at present is my computer ans store room. Master Joey, part of this room is in the "centre of the house sector"and part of it is in the "u Wei sector" This room has a beam running across the room. So to avoid having the bed under the beam the only location that i could place inside this room is in the centre sector of the house. Is it OK to sleep in the centre of the house. Is the centre of the house considered a good sector. Thanks again Master Joey. Ever since i saw your TV program, i am now very keen and interested to know about "Feng Shui". When i am able to have some savings and money is not a problem anymore, my wish is to attend all your classes and to learn from you. We be waiting for for TV show tonight. Thanks and have many2 pleasant day to come. Yours faithfully, Chan Seow Chong

Dear Seow Chong,

Thanks for watching the show. Yes there are only 2 more episodes. Perhaps if time permits, I might do a follow up with season 2 sometime in future.

Here are the answers to your Qs:

A1: Yes you stand at the mid point of your apartment. Not the compound.

A2: Facing direction of the building.

A3: It is not about 'sleeping' in the Wealth star room. Normally, if given the opportunity, we'd rather not be sleeping in a room with the wealth star because this star is to active and would mean that the person have to work too hard! We always prefer sleeping in a good 'sitting' (people) star. Thus you'd find that most of the time, Eight Mansions and Flying Stars can be applied without contradiction. However, this is a little too complex to be discussed over email. Perhaps in future I can have the opportunity to explain this via TV.

A4: You can always use 'Small TaiJi' concept to position the bed accordingly in your room. Also, in advanced Eight Mansions, even if you are in the Wu Gui room, it can be easily rectified by aligning your Qi to Sheng Qi or Tian Yi stars.

Hope to see you in a seminar or in an event someday. All the best in your studies and enjoy tonights Episode.

Warm Regards, JY
