Question Posted: 2 Oct 2005 at 12:00:00 AM
Dear Joey, I am genuinely impressed by your TV Program. This is the 2nd posting of my questions & hope you can really advise me on my predicament. My period 7 house has a facing direction of NE2. I have a water feature located in the garden-- on the left and rear corner of my property--where the #8 Facing Star(i.e. West) is located. I was instructed by a San Yuan Feng Shui master not to place any water feature at the back of the house: as well as in the West sector. Kindly advise (1) Is it advisable to place water in the West sector with #8 Facing Star in period 8? (2) What are the direct/indirect spirit locations in period 8? (3) Is sleeping with the head pointing to one of favorable directions, but diagonally towards a wall corner acceptable in feng shui?. Thank you & Best Regards.

Dear Lee, Your San Yuan Feng Shui master is correct. You should NOT activate the #8 Facing Star in the West with Water. The direct spirit locations in Period 8 are NE, NW, W and S. The Indirect Spirit Locations are SW, E, SE and N. And lastly, it is not acceptable to tap to your favorable directions when your bed is positioned diagonally towards a room corner. Warm Regards, Joey
