Dear Master Joey Yap, RE : DILIGENT STUDENT OF YOUR 8TV DISCOVER FENG SHUI SHOW. Thank your for sincerity and sharing with us your insight of Feng Shui on TV. You have shown us the steps to practice Feng Shui for our home. Many a times when we (laymen) heard about Feng Shui, many of us kept asking our inner soul whether it is true or does it works. But we still kept on placing "auspicious" item in our home, well what if it does? So many of us just buy it if we think it looks nice in our home. Now after seeing your shows and all your explaination, my family are so excited to draw out the nice equal square block to lay over their house plan. I had no problem to help my brothers and sisters to determined there Life Gua and House Gua following what i have learned from your TV show, for there are staying in a terrace houses and to determine the main door facing is quite straight forward. (Following those examples from your TV show). BUT I AM HAVING DIFFICULTIES IN DETERMINING THE HOUSE GUA FOR MYSELF FOR I AM STAYING IN AN APARTMENT.I DON'T KNOW WHICH DIRECTION TO FOLLOW. The apartment block is a U-shape. My is the centre block and there are the right and left wing block. My unit is on the 7th floor (Chinese 8th floor). My main door faces the opposite unit main door.fronting eachother. My main door (standing from inside looking out is E1) and looking behind me are the windows (W3). Looking out from this window is the guard house below and that is the main entrance from the outside road into the apartment inner road. Dear Mr Joey, which should i follow for the house gua. Is it sitting E1 or sitting W3. I am so happy and excited in helping my sister's and brother's but i am sad that i could not do it for my own home. Please help. I think there are a lot like me out there, staying in apartments having this same problem. I have tried to search for answera in your webpage and saw many questions on this in the Q&A but there are no clear definate answer. Hope you could show us, Master Joey. Be waiting for your reply and hope my mail will reach you personally. Thanks and we want you to know that if there is a SMS rating for your show, we are all out for you. Yours faithfully, Chan Seow Chong

Dear Chan, Thanks for your support in watching my TV show. I am pleased to know you've found the information useful. To find the 'house gua' of an apartment unit, you first need to determine the 'Sitting' direction of your entire apartment block. Treat your apartment block as ONE building and then decide on where it's facing direction is. The sitting direction would of course, be opposite the facing direction. Once you've determined the House Gua, then superimpose this chart over your OWN unit. Find out where the 'door' of your unit is located. If you are using Flying Stars, then plot the flying stars of your apartment block (as ONE large building). Then superimpose the flying star chart over your own unit. Again, find out what stars are at your 'door' or your room. Apartment analysis are a little sophisticated for beginners. In the coming episode, I will be talking about the Feng Shui for apartments. So be sure to catch that episode. I'm sure you'd find some answers then. Warmest Regards, Joey
