Joey's answer was that the lamp post is no harm. i have a lamp post across a small road but it is facing the main door of my house directly. Dear Danny, in the show's case study, the street lamp was not directly aligned/straight line with the main door, that's why it's okay. If you are sure this is the case for you, then the most ideal step is to use another entrance. Cheers. Sn
