Me and my mom just love your show I have a few questions to ask regarding my house; We have a period 7 house and the front door is facing East 2/3, rear door is facing west. During the chinese new year 2005, we had lion dance in the house to bring in the peirod 8 chi, however we did not change our house roofing, flooring and the main door, has our house consider as period 8 house? Please advise. If no, we plan to renovate our house by the end of the year. Is there anyway to minimise our expenses in converting our house into period 8 house?

Dear Aaron, a lion dance does not bring in Qi. That is just impossible, as we are talking about Qi of the Earth. Naturally your current Period retains. Attempting to change the Period of a property is a costly affair. Massive construction to (at least 1/3 of) the house is required, coupled with a new door. Another word of caution - You have to be certain that the new chart will be better for the external landforms, your floor plan, as well as the occupants. Cheers! SN
