Q:

Dear Master Joey Yap,

I have these questions that are banging on my head for quite a while. Even if I know the theoritical answers I am not sure the cure is working. This is the situation:

A 5 period house facing NE3 has a noble water star locked in the middle. From what I have learned you can open a qi path to release the 8 water star. To do this I found the 5 star that is in the SW area and put the water feature in SW3 and a Mountain in SW2. Now, this is considered a 3 Fate House but the energy in this period is dead.The SW area where I have placed the water feature has a big glass door that helps the qi to get inside the house but the room is quite dark as there is a high building behind the garden's house making a shadow. I have placed metal elements in the NE3 facing direction and metal sound in SW3 to cure the 2 and 5 stars with very good results. I haven't seen wealth coming in but is not this the point as I am very blessed with other things.

The questions are:

1. Its the qi path working when you place water feature in the right direction at the right time like in this case?

2. Its the water feature working (bringing wealth) or just revive the energy when you have a dead energy in the house in certain periods?

3. Even if it is a 3 Fate house but the energy is dead can you make it vibrante with the right forms/qi?

4. Using 9 Water Star from NW is better then opening the qi path? Even if its considering a distant wealth, from your practical experience, which one works better?

PS: can you please, advise me which course/book I should buy to get a more practical grip. I have finished a year course in Feng Shui in London and the flying star is my preferite one. Of course, I still need a lot of experience/practice before I got to feel sure about what I have learned.

From what you described, it does not sound like you are in a Period 5 house. If the house you live in has gone through renovations, refurbishment or you've moved in in Period 7 or Period 8, then it should be a Period 7 or 8 chart. If you are activating the wrong stars, that is why you are not seeing the results.

My answers to your questions:

1) If it is true that the prosperous wealth star is stuck in the center, the solution is not to use water. But to activate the Facing Star #5 star.

2) Internal Water is often only used like a stimulator. It does not bring in wealth. If you want true water feng shui, you have to use external water formations. not internal water placements.

3) I think what you meant is a Period 3 house chart. Listen - there is no need to "renew" or "vibrate" the so called dead qi. Firstly, who told you the Qi is dead in the first place? Period 3 ...is just a "name" of a chart. The chart doesn't become 'weak' after its period. All you need to do is utlizie the positive areas according to that chart. that's all.

4). Firstly ...there is a difference between "Water Star" and a "Facing Star". people often confuse the two. Water Star, which is what many western students call , what is actually the FACING Star. The real water star is the Water "formation" outside your house. Facing Star is the flying star number on the top right of your flying star chart.

Secondly Facing Star #9 is erroneously understood as "distant wealth".

ALL the nine facing stars can be helpful to wealth. ALL it depends on, is how you activate the stars to support YOUR BUSINESS or career goals. even a so called negative Star#2 can help with property related endeavors.

Hi Joey,
I recently bought Bazi M2 Homestudy and make a refresh to my knowledge. I have also read almost all your books.
Could you answer please some questions I have?

1) Is my chart a Supervibrand - Follow self or a Dual Formation?

2) My UG is the strongest element or the resource of strongest element?

3) In my later luck pillars my month branch will be clashed. My chart will change and become a simple strong dm that will need DIRECT OFFICER or become a weak dm that will need FR and RESOURCES?
UG is always the same regardless of the change of strength of elements?
How could I prevent the outcomes of that clash?

My answers to your questions:

1) No it is not supervibrant. It's an ordinary chart. Strong Metal.

2) Your UG is Water. hidden inside Shen. Fav element is metal.

3) There is no need to prevent the outcome of a clash. What you need to learn is what the clash is about. Which areas of life will change. And will it change for the better. If not, what you need to do now, to prepare and make the change, turn things for the better.

Dear Mr. Joey,
I would like to congratulate you for being a practical and successful Feng Shui consultant. Is it advisable for someone who has crossed half a century to check his Bazi to see what lies ahead for the rest of his life?

I have gone through one of the lowest point in my life and am trying to get my life together. I am uncertain whether I am on the correct path at this stage. Is teaching right for me?

At present, I rent a house sitting North facing South. The main door is in the South sector and my bedroom is in the West sector because I understand it is a good direction based on my Gua number. I read that the West sector is affected by the Robbery star in 2013. I positioned my bed facing West and later moved to face South. Is the latter good for me because I always wake up tired and unrested. Kindly advise, if convenient.

1. Measured by thee here, my character in the five elements Gerry are communicative. But I think they simply do not know how to talk with people. Sometimes friends said the topic did not interest me, and even some I do not know. Based on your chart, you are a Weak Metal Day Master. You have not yet entered your good luck pillars, but these will come in the near future.
